This intake system has been designed to provide the highest possible flow rate whilst maintaining the lowest intake temperatures possible. Every component has been engineered to provide a smooth and free flow path for the turbo. The intake pipe has an internal diameter of 103mm or just over 4? and has a smooth bend from the filter housing through to the turbo inlet. The filter itself was designed specifically for this intake and has a huge outside diameter of 210mm or 8.3” with a filtering area of ​​over 130,000mm^2. The patented Venturi housing is designed to provide the maximum possible internal volume for the RSQ3 engine bay and provides laminar flow to the turbo pipe. Finally, the duct seals the filter opening at the front screen but is not restricted by the stock intake alone. We have raised the front of the duct to now create an additional opening behind the hood which corresponds to an additional 7” diameter hole from which the intake manifold can be taken. The resulting system has the ability to flow 840 CFM at 28” H2O while keeping intake temperatures to a minimum with the sealed design.The F3 RSQ3 Eventuri system uses our patented carbon fiber housings which provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbo pipe. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that creates the Venturi effect. PERFORMANCEFlow dyno testingWe have performed flow tests using a Superflow SF-1020 to measure the maximum possible flow rate at a pressure drop of 28" H2O. The tests were performed on the same day under controlled conditions using the same test fixture for each system. We tested our complete intake system against the stock airbox system. The results show how restrictive the stock airbox is, which we were able to improve by up to 58% in the maximum possible flow rate. Importantly, this was achieved with a sealed intake system so intake temperatures are also kept to a minimum.Dyno testingOur Stage 3 intake has been tested by various reputable tuners worldwide who have built high performance RS3/TTRS projects for street and track use. The first results come from BR Performance Netherlands who tested our system on a TTRS with a TTE700 hybrid turbo. The tests were carried out on the same day with the hood closed.
